Amanda Schaeffer

Founder of Pure Restore and Program Facilitator

Amanda is the founder of Pure Restore and the creator of the systems and infrastructure that support this work. As a Functional Medicine and Nationally Board Certified health coach, she has guided hundreds of clients through complex healing journeys and understands what coaches need to apply labs with confidence and integrity.

Amanda helped design the Bloodwork Mastery course to remove barriers and create access. She oversees the course structure, facilitates live sessions, and ensures students have the systems, lab access, and support needed to implement what they are learning in real practice.

Mike Edcomb

Lead Bloodwork Educator and Functional Healing Expert

Mike Edgcomb is the lead bloodwork educator for the Bloodwork Mastery Course and brings deep clinical and lived experience in functional healing, detox, and blood chemistry. His own health collapse during doctoral studies led him into years of research, training, and hands-on work focused on cellular healing and root cause resolution.

Mike studied chiropractic at Life University, earned his Bachelor of Health Coaching, and is currently completing his Master’s in Health Coaching. While there, he founded and led the Functional Medicine Club and worked closely with leaders in cellular detox and functional medicine, including Dr. Daniel Pompa.

Professionally, Mike has coached over 200 clients through complex detox and healing protocols, first as a coach in the Pompa Program and now as the lead coach within Pure Restore. He also trains practitioners and doctors in functional blood chemistry, helping them move from guessing to confident, ethical application.

Inside the Bloodwork Mastery Course, Mike leads the majority of the tactical training, guiding students through real labs, real cases, and real clinical decision making with clarity and purpose.

Ruth Tisa

Bloodwork Course Support Coach

Ruth Tisa is a Functional Medicine Health Coach with over six years of experience and has supported more than 300 clients through their healing journeys. She is known for her compassion, encouragement, and ability to make people feel truly supported.

Ruth provides follow up, accountability, and ongoing support so students feel guided and confident as they apply what they are learning.
